The $100 million Charles Brownlow Retirement Village located in Highton just 15 mins from the heart of Geelong is a state of the art aged care facility offering a wide range of aged care services.
Toohey’s Form-crete were awarded the main FRP package to construct the main building hub which comprised of over 13,000m2 of slab on ground and suspended slabs of which 9000m2 was post tensioned. It also included a swimming pool and bowling green.
Toohey’s Form-crete were contracted to deliver:

Excavation of all strip footings, rafts and beams to ground slabs

Supply an installation of reinforcement

Supply and install all formwork including H-frames and high-rise form work

Installation of Bondeck to suspended post tensioned slabs

Pour and finish all concrete

Shotcrete pool and spa
Various external works including in-situ stairs and paving
